Christmas Cake topped with Glace Fruit
Deliciously moist homemade fruit cake - an age old family recipe . The fruit is soaked in brandy overnight before being added to the rich buttery mixture together with nuts and Christmas spices. Traditionally baked for several hours.
As they come out of the oven - they are dosed with brandy and this continues weekly until such time as the cake is ready for decoration.
Decorated with festive glace fruits including cherries, green figs, orange rings, pineapple rings, nuts and finished off with ribbon
Presented on a cake board and wrapped in cellophane - a wonderful Christmas Gift or for you to nibble on over the merry holiday season.
