Christmas Cake - iced with Pettinice and Marzipan with Blue Detail
Deliciously moist homemade fruit cake - an age old family recipe . The fruit is soaked in brandy overnight before being added to the rich buttery mixture together with nuts and Christmas spices. Traditionally baked for several hours.
As they come out of the oven - they are dosed with brandy and this continues weekly until such time as the cake is ready for decoration.
Delicately iced with Marzipan and Pettinice (crimped round the edges) and decorated with festive blue edible Christmas shapes and blue organza ribbon
Presented on a cake board and wrapped in cellophane - ready to be presented as a wonderful Christmas Gift or for you to nibble on over the merry holiday season
